From the Founder
Built from survival, caregiving, and Luv.
I built WeLuv Health & Wellness because health is not theory to me. I have lived with diabetes since childhood and have spent more than 45 years learning how fragile, powerful, and resilient the body can be. I have survived moments where my life was nearly lost, and those experiences changed how I see wellness forever.
This site is not here to promise cures. It is here to share education, lived experience, prevention tools, and real-world wellness practices that may help people ask better questions, make better choices, and feel less alone.
Today, I am also helping care for my father as he gets older. That has reminded me that love comes full circle. Our parents raise us, and one day we may be called to help them protect their health, dignity, energy, and peace. WeLuv Health & Wellness is for families in that season too.
For people fighting through health challengesWeLuv is for the person searching for hope, tools, and practical next steps while navigating real-life health pressure.
For families becoming caregiversAging parents still have years of life, wisdom, joy, and purpose ahead. Better daily habits can help families support that season with more dignity.
For shared experience, not one-size-fits-all advicePeople can learn from what helped others while still respecting that every body, condition, family, and care plan is different.
For the better of humanityThe mission is simple: help people live better, love deeper, prevent what they can, and support one another through what they cannot control.

Using insulin or seeing frequent highs/lows?Ask your care team whether a CGM, pump, or automated insulin delivery option may fit your needs.

Urgent or unsafe?Call 911 for immediate danger. Call or text 988 for mental health crisis support in the U.S.
Diabetes Technology
CGMs, insulin pumps, and smarter insulin delivery systems.
CGMs, insulin pumps, and automated insulin delivery systems can help some people see glucose patterns and work with their care team on safer daily routines.
A CGM checks glucose through the day. Some pumps connect with CGMs and software that adjusts insulin delivery. These tools still require prescriptions, training, supplies, and care-team guidance.
What a CGM can show
Current glucose readings and trend arrows
High and low glucose alerts
Patterns after meals, movement, stress, and sleep
Reports to discuss with a provider
Insulin delivery systems
Traditional insulin pumps deliver insulin through a wearable device
Patch pumps may be tubeless depending on the system
Automated insulin delivery can adjust insulin using CGM data
Meal dosing may still be required depending on the system
Devices people may hear about
Examples include Dexcom, FreeStyle Libre, Eversense, Omnipod, Tandem, Medtronic, and iLet systems. WeLuv does not recommend one device over another. Coverage, age, diabetes type, training, and personal needs matter.
Questions to ask your care team
Am I a candidate for a CGM or pump?
What is covered by my insurance?
What training and supplies will I need?
What should I do if readings do not match how I feel?
Educational only. Diabetes technology decisions should be made with a licensed diabetes care team, especially for insulin dosing, pump settings, hypoglycemia risk, pregnancy, children, or complex medical needs.
Stress, anxiety, depression, grief, burnout, and trauma can affect sleep, energy, relationships, work, appetite, and physical health. Mental health should feel normal to discuss and easier to support.
Stress supportWarning signsDaily resetsCrisis help
Start with one honest check-in
Ask: How am I sleeping? Am I withdrawing? Am I overwhelmed most days? Is this affecting work, school, parenting, relationships, or daily responsibilities?
Signs to pay attention to
Persistent sadness, worry, anger, fear, or numbness
Major sleep, appetite, energy, or focus changes
Pulling away from people or responsibilities
Using substances to cope or feeling unable to function
Daily reset tools
Use the breathing tool for two minutes
Write down one worry and one next action
Step outside, stretch, or take a short walk
Text one safe person instead of carrying it alone
When to seek support
Reach out to a licensed professional, primary care provider, counselor, or trusted support line when symptoms are severe, persistent, worsening, or interfering with daily life.
How WeLuv can help
Offer stigma-free education, grounding tools, resource links, and community pathways while encouraging people to connect with qualified care when needed.
If there may be immediate danger
Call 911. For mental health crisis support in the U.S., call or text 988 for the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.
Educational only. This section does not diagnose or replace professional mental health care.
GLP-1s, weight-loss medications, and testosterone without the hype.
Ozempic, Wegovy, Mounjaro, Zepbound, and testosterone therapy are part of today's health conversation. WeLuv's role is to help people slow down, understand the tradeoffs, and ask better questions before making medical decisions.
These treatments can be helpful for the right person under medical care, but they are not casual shortcuts. A licensed clinician should review health history, labs, medications, side effects, goals, and follow-up before anyone starts.
GLP-1 medications: possible benefits
May help with appetite control and significant weight loss for eligible patients
Can improve blood sugar control for some people with type 2 diabetes
May lower certain heart-risk outcomes in specific approved groups
Can give some people a tool after years of failed attempts
GLP-1 medications: cautions
Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, and dehydration can happen
Gallbladder, pancreas, kidney, and stomach-emptying concerns need review
They may not be appropriate with certain thyroid cancer or MEN2 history
Unapproved, fake, or poorly compounded versions can create serious risk
Testosterone therapy: possible benefits
May help men with confirmed low testosterone and symptoms
Can affect sexual health, mood, bone density, anemia, or muscle mass in appropriate patients
Should begin with proper labs, symptom review, and medical supervision
Testosterone therapy: cautions
Can reduce fertility and affect sperm production
May raise red blood cell count and require blood monitoring
Can worsen sleep apnea, acne, fluid retention, or prostate-related concerns in some people
Online clinics may over-market treatment without enough screening
Questions to ask before starting
Am I a candidate?Ask whether the treatment is FDA-approved for your condition and whether your health history changes the risk.
What needs monitoring?Ask what labs, follow-up visits, side effects, red flags, and long-term plan should be in place.
What supports the medicine?Ask how nutrition, protein, hydration, movement, sleep, mental health, and stopping plans fit into care.
Educational only. WeLuv does not prescribe, diagnose, sell medications, recommend hormone therapy, or replace a licensed clinician. People should avoid unapproved products and speak with a qualified healthcare professional before making treatment decisions.
Healthy kids, supported families, and age-appropriate habits.
Children need wellness support that changes by stage. Kids Corner helps parents and caregivers think about food, sleep, movement, emotional safety, routines, screen balance, checkups, and when to call a pediatric professional.

Family-first approach
This is not about perfect parenting. It is about simple routines, safer questions, emotional connection, and knowing when a child needs a pediatrician, dentist, counselor, school support, or emergency care.
Infants: safety and bonding
Well-child visits, feeding guidance, vaccines, safe sleep, and growth tracking
Responding to cues, bonding, tummy time, and caregiver rest
Call a clinician for fever concerns, dehydration, breathing issues, poor feeding, or unusual behavior
Toddlers: routines and exploration
Predictable sleep, meals, play, reading, and movement
Simple language, emotional naming, safe boundaries, and positive repetition
Watch development, hearing, vision, nutrition, dental care, and injury prevention
School-age and preteens
Balanced meals, water, daily movement, sleep routines, and screen limits
Friendship, confidence, school stress, body changes, bullying, and online safety
Encourage questions before shame, fear, or misinformation fills the gap
Teens: independence with support
Sleep, mental health, substance awareness, sexual health, sports safety, and driving safety
Respect privacy while keeping connection, boundaries, and trusted adults visible
Take mood changes, self-harm talk, eating concerns, substance use, and major withdrawal seriously
When to act fast
For trouble breathing, severe allergic reaction, seizure, poisoning, serious injury, suspected abuse, suicidal thoughts, or immediate danger, call emergency services. For mental health crisis support in the U.S., call or text 988.
Educational only. Kids Corner does not replace pediatric care. Parents and caregivers should work with a pediatrician, licensed mental health professional, dentist, school support team, or emergency services when needed.
THC, CBD, full-spectrum hemp, and psilocybin research without the hype.
Plant-based wellness deserves honest education. WeLuv explains what people are asking about, what research is exploring, and why legality, product quality, mental health history, medications, pregnancy, age, and professional supervision matter.
THC educationCBD basicsFull spectrumPsilocybin research
Core safety position
This section is educational only. WeLuv does not sell cannabis or psychedelics, does not provide dosing, and does not encourage illegal use. Medical decisions should involve licensed professionals and current local law.
Age and local-law reminder
THC, CBD, hemp-derived products, and psilocybin rules vary by state, product type, age, and setting. WeLuv Health & Wellness is an education resource only. Adults should verify current local law and speak with qualified professionals before making health decisions.
A personal wellness perspective
Not a cure claimThis space exists because some people report meaningful personal benefits from THC, CBD, full-spectrum hemp, or psilocybin experiences. That does not mean the same product or approach is right for everyone.
Everybody responds differentlyBody chemistry, mindset, environment, dosage, product quality, medications, health history, and legality all matter. What helps one person may not help another person.
Education firstWeLuv's role is to encourage honest learning, safer questions, respect for the law, and conversations with qualified professionals instead of hype, pressure, or one-size-fits-all advice.
THC: what to understand
THC is the main intoxicating cannabinoid in cannabis
People commonly discuss it around pain, nausea, appetite, sleep, and stress
It can affect memory, coordination, reaction time, mood, anxiety, and perception
It may be unsafe with driving, pregnancy, youth use, certain mental health histories, or some medications
CBD and full-spectrum basics
CBD is non-intoxicating, but it can still cause side effects and interact with medicines
Full-spectrum products may contain CBD, trace THC, terpenes, flavonoids, and other cannabinoids
Broad-spectrum products are usually designed to remove THC
Quality matters: testing, contaminants, labeling accuracy, and source transparency should be checked
Psilocybin research
Psilocybin is being studied in controlled clinical settings for serious mental health conditions. It is not an FDA-approved standard treatment, and it remains federally controlled in the United States. Any discussion should emphasize lawful, professionally supervised research and care.
Questions to ask first
Is this legal where I live?
Could this interact with my medications or health conditions?
Is there independent lab testing?
Am I using this to avoid care I actually need?
Avoid cannabis or psychedelic products before driving or operating equipment. People who are pregnant, breastfeeding, underage, immunocompromised, taking complex medications, or living with psychosis, bipolar disorder, severe anxiety, heart concerns, or substance use risk should speak with a qualified clinician before considering any product.
For many families, health at home includes dogs and companion animals. This section focuses on everyday dog wellness, preventive vet care, movement, nutrition, stress signals, and caution around trendy pet supplements.

Meet Jax
The heart behind pet wellness
Jax is part of the WeLuv family and the friendly face of this pet wellness space, built for people who love their dogs like family.
Dog wellness basics
Regular veterinary checkups, vaccines, dental care, and parasite prevention
Daily movement matched to age, breed, heat, joint health, and energy level
Fresh water, safe shelter, enrichment, grooming, and nail care
Healthy weight habits through measured meals and appropriate treats
Signs to watch
Loss of appetite, vomiting, diarrhea, coughing, limping, or unusual fatigue
Sudden behavior changes, hiding, aggression, confusion, or anxiety
Excessive thirst, urination changes, breathing trouble, or pale gums
Any toxin exposure, chocolate, xylitol, medication, cannabis, or mushroom ingestion
CBD and pets
Pet CBD is popular, but cannabis-derived products for animals have not followed the usual FDA approval path. Talk with a veterinarian before use, avoid THC exposure, and choose products carefully if your vet says a product may be appropriate.
Family routines
Morning walk, refill water, and quick body check
Training or enrichment for 5 to 10 minutes
Weekly grooming and paw/nail check
Keep emergency vet and poison control numbers accessible
Pet emergency note
If your pet ingests cannabis, unknown mushrooms, human medication, chocolate, xylitol, or another toxin, contact a veterinarian, emergency animal hospital, or pet poison hotline right away.
Educational only. WeLuv does not diagnose animals or replace veterinary care. Supplements, diet changes, and behavior concerns should be discussed with a licensed veterinarian.
A review system for information that keeps changing.
Medical research, product rules, cannabis laws, psychedelic policy, diabetes technology, and pet health guidance can change. WeLuv should update education only after a human review of trusted sources.
Last reviewed: July 20, 2026Human review requiredOfficial sources first
Why not fully automatic?
Automatic medical updates can publish incomplete, misunderstood, or legally risky information. The safer system is source monitoring, then review, then a clear site update.

Avoid product claims unless they are legally cleared and documented

Why We Exist
Healthcare taught us to treat illness. Luv taught us to prevent it.
WeLuv Health & Wellness was built from a simple belief: your zip code and your paycheck should never decide how long, or how well, you live. Too many families get health information only after something goes wrong. This resource hub is designed to flip that script with free education, prevention tools, and community support pathways that meet people where they are.
"We named it WeLuv because that's the whole strategy. Show up, teach what we know, and love people back to health. One habit, one family, one neighborhood at a time."
